About Us
Sick On Sin surfaced in December 2005 with the objective of infiltrating the masses with cute shirts and accessories. 'Cause we all know that nothing satisfies those inner demons quicker than a dose of cuteness!
Sick On Sin is a one-gal biz that's owned and operated by Jennifer Krebsz. That means that she does everything from making the products to packing orders to answering emails. However, there's one thing that she can't do – draw. So she commissions her 'significant other' Michael Lalonde to do all the designs for the merch (works out perfectly since he excels at The Cute!). Sick On Sin is an online only store and its headquarters are located in Jen's basement in a quiet suburb outside of Toronto, Canada (hence the site being in Canadian currency).
Thank you for visiting Sick On Sin! And thank you for supporting an independent business! xo

Jennifer:
- A fan of goodies with cute and unique designs, Jen had ideas for fun shirts and pins that she would love to have. She thought maybe other - people out there would like such things too, thus the plan for an online store started to take root. After letting the plan bubble on the back burner for a bit, she finally took the plunge in 2005 - trading in a corporate dotcom existence for an entrepreneurial dotcom one. Since then Jen has been having loads of fun running and growing the store. And regardless of the fact she now works at least 60 hrs / week instead of the 40 hrs back then, she thinks it's pretty much the best job ever!
Jen's fave things is coming up with new products and doing shows so she gets to meet all kinds of awesome people face to face. However, she also enjoys all the other parts of the gig including making the shirts and accessories (yep, each shirt and pin is pressed by her!), packing up orders, doing marketing, answering emails, and maintaining the website.
As if it wasn't obvious from the designs on the Sick On Sin merchandise, Jen loves cute things, is a huge animal lover, is vegan and has a fondness for zombies. In her spare time she loves hunting for vintage flower mugs at thrift stores, giving advice, playing video games, baking yummy things, hugging trees, and taking photos of her cats with their tongue sticking out.
Other Loves:
- cupcakes
- sea monsters
- xylophones
- hummus
- stormtroopers
Michael:
All of the designs on the Sick On Sin goodies are done by Michael Lalonde. Basically Jen gives him a lists of ideas (including the occasional horrible sketch) and he whips off the super cute, awesome drawings – way better than Jen even envisioned! He also gets credit for designing this website.
Many of you may already be familiar with Michael's work as the creator of the comic Orneryboy. (If you aren't familiar, you should definitely check it out – especially if you like cuteness, comic violence, zombies and cats that turn into horrible tentacle monsters!). Sick On Sin is the official retailer for Orneryboy merchandise (and actually, the ONLY place to get the merch). Did we mention that Michael's also an online game designer and has created tons of games for some of Canada's top kids websites? Such the talented boy! In his spare time he likes to build things out of scrap wood, play video games, and bang on the drums.
Soya Sauce and Miso:
While they may not actually do much work when it comes to Sick On Sin, Soya Sauce and Miso give Jen encouragement in a way only felines can. By meowing and constantly seeking attention. They also help get her to take breaks by having her wrestle with them on the floor, run around dragging string for them to chase, and clean out their poop box.
Sauce also likes to show off his organizational skills by taking care of all the papers on Jen's desk (by pushing them to the floor), whereas Miso has quite the talent for helping to double check the packages piled to go to the post office (by running and sliding into them).
