Hey hey – it’s our birthday!

Sick On Sin has turned 3 years old! Yay!

It honestly doesn’t feel like I’ve been doing SOS for 3 years now. Time DOES fly when you’re having fun! When I launched the store, I was simply following a desire – I had no idea where it would go or if it would work out. But here I am, 3 years later! There’s been lots of learning along the way, but it’s been a great adventure and I am super excited to see what the future holds!

Of course, I wouldn’t be writing this entry if it weren’t for all the people who have supported and promoted SOS along the way. So I want to give a huge thanks to all them. First, I have amazing customers that totally make it all worthwhile. One of my favourite thing about this gig is doing shows where I meet fans. Being an online store means I miss out on the face-to-face interactions so it’s so nice to get those opportunities to chat with people. I also have amazing friends that have helped me out in so many ways – so lots of xoxox to them. And of course there is Michael – without his support and his incredible talent there would be no Sick On Sin.

Haha, I thought I should include a photo in this entry but don’t have any birthday related ones. So instead here’s one that probably would never exist if not for Sick On Sin. In the summer I had a booth at the Toronto Fan Expo and bumped into Aaron Douglas (haha he walked by and I totally chased after him and asked for a photo). Battlestar Galactica is one of my fave shows and Chief is my FAVE character on it so yeah, I went a little fan girlish (I was so kooky I didn’t even tell him he was my fave). Giving thumbs up is something fun I like to make people do in photos…usually my thumb doesn’t look so wonky though (wtf?!).
